Book Coaching
Book Coach
A Book Coach is someone who helps the writer with the writing process. The current ideal is the lone writer typing out the next bestseller alone in their garret. The problem with this ideal is that most people are not geniuses. We work better in groups; we need feedback to thrive. A book coach provides you with feedback on your novel as you write and helps you develop your ideas. As a book coach, I expect my clients to write ten pages a week. In return they get:
Structural EditingTheir work is edited for flow, content, scene, and character development. We discuss how the plot is going to develop over the course of the novel, and where the characters are going to end up.

Feedback Between SessionsAny time authors have additional editing they want done, have questions about their work, or just want to chat about their novel I am available over both e-mail and Twitter.

Help Preparing for PublicationI am not a publisher, but as part of my book coaching service I will help authors prepare a query letter to literary agents and publishers. If they prefer, I can also help with the self publishing process through Amazon.
